Preppy Argyle Knit Jumper with Round Neck

Argyle is a pattern with a school and golf-club history behind it, and this jumper leans into that rather than apologising for it. The diamonds run across the whole body and sleeves as a two-tone lattice, with a contrast line crossing each diamond on the diagonal. That structure does the decorating, so nothing else on the piece has to, and the scale of the diamonds is large enough to read from across a room.

The neckline is a plain round crew with a ribbed edge, which keeps the pattern uninterrupted and leaves room for a collared shirt to sit underneath and show at the throat and the cuff. The cut is loose and oversized through the body with a soft drop shoulder, so the diamonds fall in a wide grid instead of stretching across the chest. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem tighten the ends. The length is regular and finishes at the hip, which works over both a shirt tail and a high waistband.

Wear it true to size for the oversized look, or size down for a closer shape. Our model is 5'7" and wears size M. It comes in Burgundy across sizes S to 2XL. Machine wash with a mild detergent and do not dry clean.
