Ribbed Stripe Half Zip Jumper with Ring Pull

The small metal ring on the zip is the detail you notice first and use every day, because a ring pull is far easier to catch with cold hands or gloves on than a flat tab. It runs on a half zip placket set into a tall stand collar, so the neck holds itself upright whether the zip is closed to the top or dropped to the chest.

The knit underneath is a chunky rib, and a fine horizontal stripe runs through both the body and the sleeves, so the vertical lines of the rib and the horizontal run of the stripe hold each other in check. Drop shoulders set the seam low on the arm for a relaxed line across the back. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem close the shape at wrist and waist. The jumper is unlined and finishes at the hip, which keeps it easy under a padded jacket.
