Marled Plush Cropped Jacket with Wide Collar

This is the jacket for arriving somewhere. Alverra used a long, dense plush with a marled finish, so two tones sit through the pile and the surface shifts as it catches the light rather than reading as one flat block of colour. Cropped to the waist, it keeps everything below it visible, which is the whole reason to wear a short coat over an evening dress.

The collar is cut wide and folds open across the shoulders, framing the neck and adding to the volume up top. The front fastening is concealed, so nothing interrupts the pile, and the sleeves are full with a deep drop shoulder. It is lined throughout and warm enough for the coldest weeks of the year, over a slip dress or over joggers on a plain Tuesday.

Four colourways: Apricot, Light Grey, Coffee Brown and White. Sizes run S to 2XL in a loose, oversized cut, true to size with room to layer; our model is 5'7" and wears the size S. Machine wash and do not dry clean. Shake the pile out while it is damp and it will settle back to its full loft as it dries. Hang it with space on either side so the pile is not crushed flat between heavier coats.
