Brushed V Neck Cardigan with Patch Pockets

A brushed knit with a raised, plush surface, cut into the kind of cardigan that lives on the back of a chair rather than in a drawer. The V neckline opens the chest enough to show a collar or a necklace underneath, and five buttons close the front from the base of that V down to the hem.

Two patch pockets sit on the front, stitched roomy rather than decorative, so a phone or a set of keys goes in without pulling the knit out of shape. The body is relaxed through the chest and waist with long regular sleeves, and it finishes at the hip. That combination makes it a straightforward layer over a T-shirt on a cool autumn morning, and an easy thing to keep at your desk when an office runs cold. The soft brushed face means it feels warmer than its weight suggests, and the buttons let you close it fully on the walk in and open it again the moment you are indoors.
