Belted Longline Coat with Buttoned Cuff Tabs

A winter coat with its details finished properly: a double-breasted front under a wide lapel collar, a buttoned tab at each cuff, and a back vent so the skirt of the coat moves as you walk. The surface is brushed soft and the coat is fully lined, which is what keeps the warmth in without any stiffness. The lapels are wide enough to sit flat under a scarf, and the buttons are set high so the front closes properly across the chest when the weather turns.

It falls to mid-calf, and the self-tie belt does the shaping. Pull it in for a defined waist over a dress, or leave it hanging loose over a jumper and let the coat fall straight.
