This is the longest coat Alverra makes, falling clean to the ankle over whatever it is worn with. Full length changes how a coat behaves: it covers a dress entirely, keeps wind off the back of the legs, and makes a plain outfit underneath irrelevant. A sharp notch lapel opens above a double breasted front closed with gold-tone buttons.

A coat this long needs to let you walk, which is what the back vent is for. It releases at the hem with every stride instead of pulling across the thighs, and it means you can climb stairs without gathering the fabric in one hand. The self-tie belt threads through loops at the waist to shape an otherwise loose body, buttoned tabs finish the cuffs, and flap pockets sit at the hip. It is fully lined, so it slips over a suit or a knit without catching.
