Tie Cuff Belted Double Breasted Trench Coat

The Alverra tie-cuff trench is the coat for a day that changes shape halfway through — the school run in the morning, a dinner nobody planned by the evening. It fastens double breasted under a wide notch lapel and draws in at the waist with a self-tie belt, giving a clean line through the body without any of the stiffness that makes a formal coat hard to wear casually.

The cuffs are what set it apart from a standard trench. Instead of a strap and buckle, each sleeve finishes with a soft self-tie you can knot loosely or pull in against the wind, and the effect lands closer to tailoring than to workwear. Slanted welt pockets sit flush at the hip rather than adding bulk, epaulettes hold the shoulder line, and the hem runs straight across at the knee.

There are five colourways, which is unusual for a coat: Khaki, Black, Olive Green, Apricot and Red, from the entirely neutral to the deliberately loud. Sizes run S to 2XL with a regular fit shaped through the waist by the belt. Our model is 5'6" and wears a size S. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or have the coat professionally dry cleaned.
