Slouchy Brushed Knit Open Front Cardigan

Alverra made this cardigan for the mornings when you want a layer that goes on without a second thought. The knit is brushed soft on the surface, cut oversized so it drapes rather than holds a shape, and the shoulder seam sits well down the arm for an easy slouch through the sleeve. There is no closure to fuss with, so it stays open, falls to the hip, and works over a tee or a dress with equal ease.

Look at the back and there is a subtle vertical texture running through the knit, which keeps a plain cardigan from reading flat under a coat. Ribbed cuffs hold the sleeve where you push it up the arm, and the weight lands in the middle ground on purpose: light enough for a warm evening outside, substantial enough for the first properly cold week of autumn.

Seven colourways are available, from Black, Burgundy and Coffee Brown through to Apricot, Yellow, Pink and Hot pink, in sizes S to 2XL. Our model is 5'9" and wears a size S for the loose drape shown here, so take your usual size, or size down if you want it closer through the body. Machine wash or send it for professional dry cleaning.
