Removable Faux Fur Collar Double Breasted Overcoat

Some coats need styling. This one arrives finished. Alverra cut a double breasted overcoat in a smooth, substantial cloth, fastened it with ornate gold buttons and set a faux fur collar over the notch lapel. The fur unclips, so one coat covers two jobs: plain and tailored for the office on Monday, trimmed and warm for a winter evening on Friday.

Epaulettes at the shoulder and buttoned tabs at the cuff carry a quiet military line through the rest of it. The body is shaped clean and then released into a gently flared hem that stops at the upper thigh, short enough to sit down in and to keep a heel visible. Two flap pockets sit at the hip for the things you would otherwise hold. It is fully lined, so it slides over a blazer or a knitted dress instead of dragging on them.

Available in Navy Blue and Coffee Brown, in sizes S to 2XL, cut regular through the body so your usual size is the right one. Our model is 5'9" and wears a size S. Dry clean it, or hand wash with the fur collar detached first and reshape it flat while damp, then hang it somewhere airy overnight before it goes back in the wardrobe.
