Plush Trim Hooded Puffer Jacket with Drawcord Hem

The quilting on this puffer is worked in a mix of horizontal and diagonal panels instead of the usual flat rows, which breaks up the surface and stops the jacket reading as one plain tube of padding. The hood is trimmed with soft plush that frames the face, and a two-way zip runs the full length of the front, so it can also be opened from the hem when you sit.

A drawcord at the hem pulls the shape in as much as you need, which is the difference between warm and shapeless on a padded jacket. It is fully lined and padded for the coldest part of the year, with elasticated cuffs that keep draughts out of the sleeves and a zip sleeve pocket sized for a card or a key. The fit is regular with room to layer. Pulled fully closed, the hood and collar meet just under the chin, which is where most of the wind tends to get in.

It is hip length, cut short enough to wear over most things, and comes in Black, Khaki, Navy Blue, Apricot, Blue and Army Green, in sizes S to 2XL. The model is 5'8" and wears a size S. Machine wash or professionally dry clean, then shake the padding loose once dry so it settles back evenly through the panels.
