Fringe runs the full length of the outer shaft on this Alverra western boot, moving with every step and settling back into line when you stop. Rows of pink stars are appliqued across the front, and scroll stitching is worked over the vamp in the traditional cowboy pattern. The topline dips front and back, the toe comes to a sharp point, and the whole boot sits on a stacked heel of about three inches.

The shaft is cut roomy through the leg, so there is space for a thick sock or for jeans tucked in, and the boot pulls on with no zip or buckle to work around. Three inches of heel gives real height, but the block shape spreads the weight across the whole footbed rather than balancing it on a point. The fringe sits on the outer side of each boot only, so it swings clear of the opposite leg as you walk rather than tangling between them.
