Contrast Panel Teddy Zip-Up Jacket

A teddy jacket earns its place by being warm without turning into padding. Alverra cut this one in a dense but shallow pile, then set smooth contrast panels across the chest and hip so the shape stays defined instead of rounding out. The tall stand collar zips right up under the chin when the wind picks up, and sits down flat against the shoulders when it does not.

The full-length zip runs clean through the contrast trim, with a zip chest pocket on one side and slanted hand pockets set below it. The jacket is lined throughout, so it pulls on over a jumper without dragging, and the drop shoulder leaves the sleeve enough slack that a knit underneath lies flat rather than bunching at the arm. It is loose through the body and stops at the hip.

Six colourways run from plain Beige and Khaki to two-tone Beige/Olive Green, Beige/Brown, Beige/Black and White/Olive Green, so the panelling either blends in or reads as a deliberate band of contrast. Sizes run S to 2XL and the cut is true to size with room to layer; our model is 5'8" and wears the size S. Hand wash or dry clean to keep the pile from matting.
